Step:1
Your body starts to fell a bit drowsy.
If you hear something or if someone touches you, you will wake up straight away
Our bodies start to fall into a light sleep
Step:2
Your brain gives you a signal to relax you muscles
Your breathing slows down
You enter a slightly deeper sleep
Step:3
Your brain sends a message to your blood pressure and tells it to get lower
you wont notice if its hot or cold in te room your sleeping in
Your in an even deeper sleep
Step:4
it is very hard to wake up from this sleep
If you wake up you will be confused
This is the deepest sleep yet and is also considered the slow wave sleep
Step 5:
R.E.M stands for rapid eye movement
This is when your heart beats faster and your breathing is less regular
This stage is called R.E.M
