Benzodiazepines
nitrazepam, flurazepam (long T1/2 -> cumulative doses, esp in elderly as they metabolise drugs slower)
temazepam (short T1/2, good for patients who need to wake early)

increase sleep duration, decrease REM sleep (won't feel refreshed when waking)
antagonist = flumazenil (antidote for overdose, precipitates withdrawal)
