Global Climate Change
Human Activities
Burning of Fossil Fuels
Industrialization led to huge demand for fossil fuel to power up plants and factory to product goods, these plants and factory by product is all he green house gases. eg, Co2
Deforestation
Loss of forest due to removal or clearance of trees
Obtaining woods for material or clearing land for other activities like mining, infrastructure build ..etc
Led to increase in carbon dioxide - talk about plant photosynthesis.. produce carbon dioxide green house gases
Eg. Between 2000 to 2010, 52000 km2 of forest were cleared
Changing land use
Changing Land use eg. using land for agriculture - large scale agriculture release of Co2 & methane into atmosphere. Eg. Rice cultivation and cattle farming
Urbanization also plays a big part. As we develop green land into urban city, more fossil fuel are used to provide power, water and sanitation. The waste product from humans are Co2 and other green house gases

Impact of climate change
Rise in sea level
Ice cap melt due to global warming, led to sea level rising
frequent extreme weather
Heat waves, floods, droughts and cyclones

Natural Causes
-
Volcanic eruption
Release large amt of carbon dioxide, water vapour and sulphur dioxide, dust and ash into atmosphere
The sulphur based particles, ash and dust reflect solar energy back into space result in cooling influence on regional and global temp
This is only temporarily. Once these eruption dies down, the cooling effect wears off.
Eg. During mt Pinatube eruption in 1991, 17 mil tonnes of sulphur dioxide were released into atmosphere. This affected the reduction in temp by 0.6 degree celsius for 2 yrs
