        other rules is that the former are normally enforced by collective

        A law that has been laid down is called positive law. The word
        “positive” in this connection is derived from the Latin positus “laid down.”
    - - Legal rules are often compared to moral rules. Because we consider it desirable that the law does not violate
        morality.
        
        Differences Between Law and Morality
        
        Moral Standards Important
        
        Moral norms and

        Legal rules have to be enforced by state organs, but the Moral rules dont have to.
        However, many moral rules have
        counterparts in the law so that state enforcement of morality is possible in the form of state enforcement of the law.
        
        Positive and Critical Morality
        
        Positive Morality
        
        When looking at the relationship between law and morality, it is
        useful to keep in mind that the notion of “morality” is ambiguous.
        On one hand it may relate to positive morality (the moral standards that are accepted at a particular time and place).
        Such “positive morality” from one time and place to another.
        
        Critical Morality
        
        On the other hand, “morality” may stand for critical morality,
        the moral rules and standards that should rationally be accepted regardless of what
        positive morality says.
        
        Legal Certainty
        
        Legal certainty has at least three aspects:
        
        certainty about the content of the law,
        
        certainty that the law will be enforced,
        
        certainty that the law will be applied consistently.
