Lost territories in the East and gave them to Poland and Soviet Union.

The Western Allies organized the Berlin airlift to carry supplies to people in West Berlin.
The Soviet did not disrupt this because this might start a conflict.
America gave Western Europe over 13 billion dollars in economic support to help rebuild the economic.
