if something went wrong
how would anyone know
make sure that you tell someone your plans, who you are bringing with you, your use of communication and your safety route

make sure that the trusted person knows everything about your trip and maybe you could set times of the walk when they could try contact you so that they know that you are safe
imagine walking a huge track with raging rivers and step cliffs and its only your second time in the great outdoors
what would you do?
make sure that you have been doing a lot of fitness a few weeks leading up to the big tramp. ( just to be on the safe side of things)
make sure that if you are a beginner you dont go to extreme and that it is not to hard for you, this can be very bad for your physical and mental health
if have been going on a few tramps and you think you can handle something a little harder to test your limits, theres plenty of other tracks for you to do, but there can stil be plenty of fun to have had in the beginner tracks
