Types:
Functional - disagree but still work as team, promotes creative thinking & problem solving, non-aggressive.
Dysfunctional - refusal to work as a team, aggressive, task is compromised, creates disturbance.
Advantages: creates awareness of a problem, stimulates creative thinking, understand problem better, leads to collaboration, encourages participation & input.
Disadvantages: hamper productivity, distracts employees, may lower morale, may lead to inappropriate behavior.
