      - Production of a Folio worth 12 credits
      - The course is a mixture of drawing, printing and painting
      - Within the selected theme there is scope for students to develop their own ideas

      - Students can specialise in Design, Photography, Painting. Students can do one or more art subjects
      - 3 internals worth 12 credit total
      - You don't need your own camera as dept has cameras to use
      - After researching artist models students select their themes
    - - On average students complete 2 to 3 internals
      - The Folio is worth 14 credits so you must pass your folio to pass the subject. If they get a merit or excellence it is a subject endorsement
      - Students work closely with 3 to 4 artist models to develop their theme
      - Students have free choice on themes after consulation with teadcher
      - Students continue to specialise in Design, Photography and Painting. Students can do one or more art subject

    - - The first year where students specialise on an instrument for performance. This is designed as a preparation for NCEA music. NCEA style performance assessment on video, theory (gr 1-8, with gr2 minimum by end of course), aural perception of melody/chords/rhythm, composition on SIbelius and Garageband, set work study of "the musical" incorporating scorereading.
