AN INTUITIVE APPROACH TO CLOSING THE DEAL
WE SAY YES TO OURSELVES BY
• Tuning in to our own inner guidance - trust it!
• Be clear about WHO we desire to work with
• Using tools of personal development like meditation and affirmations; Doing the inner work to bust through our blocks and open our hearts
• Say an affirmation before every HH
• "Great spirit, please help me to be in my highest self - my highest vibration - so that I may guide this person to break through any blocks they may have to their well-being and health. Please help me to hold a container of safety and unconditional love for this person"
*Approach your HH as opportunity to health the client energetically and love them unconditionally, regardless of outcome!
THE
6 KEY
STEPS
- BE A DETECTIVE
• Use the HH form - this is your guide
• Ask open-ended, high-mileage questions
How does that make you feel?
When have you experienced that before?
How have you overcome something like that in your life?
Where would you like to be in 5 years?
How would you like your life to be different?
• Trust your intuition
• Listen and let the conversation flow
• Share your own life - be a human rather than the expert
- Ask, "What do you want to change?" or "What are your main health concerns?"
• Now you are checking in to get really clear on what they want
• Honor the silence
• Give them time, be patient
- WHY do you want this?
- Reflect back to them verbally what they said they wanted, then ask "Is this right? Did I hear you correctly?"
• If not, keep gathering info until you get it right; It's okay to be wrong! Try sensing the emotion that is underneath the words they are using
- Ask, "Imagine that you have ALREADY achieved it... What does it feel like? Look like?
- "I can help you with this. Would you like to hear how we will do it together?"
ACTION STEPS
• Create an affirmation to say prior to your health history session
• Light a candle prior to your session
• Sit quietly in silence for a few minutes prior to session to ground yourself and tune in to your intuition

DISCUSSION
Discussion: Your Supermarket Tour
This week, you learned about offering a healthy supermarket tour to your clients as part of your 6-Month Program. Do you feel prepared to offer this service to your clients? Why or why not? What changes would you consider making to it to better fit your clients’ needs?
Add-on services are an amazing way to add value to your 6-Month Program and appeal to your ideal client base. What sorts of add-ons do you plan on exploring? Who are you trying to reach? How do you feel this service could benefit your clients? How are you hoping to incorporate them into your program? Remember – the sky is the limit!
I am going to offer the following ad-ons: an eBook, a recipe guide, an affirmations book, and guided meditations. These add-ons will help support my clients through their health journey by offering inspiration, guidance, and a sense of connection and community (they will create a tribe-like mentality for those people who are learning to "fit out"). The affirmations and guided meditations will help my clients keep the mindset necessary to implement changes that the eBook and recipe guides inspire.
Clients are more likely to sign up for your program if you are aligned with it. In other words, the integrity of your program correlates with your willingness to sign up for your own health coaching program. Would you be willing to commit to your program for six months? If not, what would you be willing to commit to? Would you be comfortable paying the price of your program? Why or why not?
Your Grounding Routine
It’s important to establish a grounding routine before a Health History or coaching session in order to have a heart-centered connection with a potential client. How will you center yourself before a session? What intention will you set? What practices might you incorporate before a session? Consider affirmations, meditation, yoga, candles, a walk, etc. How will you prepare your space so that it’s ready for the session and clear of distractions? How much time will you set aside before each session for this grounding routine?
I do a few yoga stretches, meditate for 5 minutes, and say the affirmation: "I am here to serve. I create space for my client to heal and be loved. I offer love and support, and I am guided always."
