Peasants
Postive effects
Better Working conditions and ability to move jobs more freely
Increased the amount of food available for peasants and different types of foods such as meats and dairy
Increased wages
Before the Black Plague there was only a higher class and lower class
Because of the increase of pay, there was a middle class that was made.
Government
They tried to keep the wages down for peasants
This caused the Peasants Revolt, leading to many deaths
The Black Plague helped end the feudal system
Government lost power due to the Black Plague
Landowners
Peasants became more choosey where they worked, so getting people to work on land became harder
Peasants demanded higher wages and because there wasn't enough people to work on land landowners had to start to pay more
Everyday Life
Many family members, children and partners died.
This brought down the morality of everday life

People thought that God betrayed them so religion became less important in everyday life
Because of the increase of bodies, more jobs to work as gravediggers came.
The Jews were blamed for the Black Plague
Many of them were slaughtered and others left Europe
