Initial Ideas for my magazine
Content
Each edition to include reviews, previews and news about current films. As well as interviews with actors and directors.
Occasional additional dedicated to the anniversary of a film, i.e. Star Wars 40th anniversary. Editions such as this would be longer and included more than the average edition. It would also be more expensive.
Each issue around 100 pages. 150 pages for special edition
The magazine will be divided into five colour-coded sections: Features, Previews, Reviews (Including throwback and contemporary), Reader section (polls, sent in reviews)
Each page will have the magazine name, page number and the issue number/name
Release
One released on the first day of every month
Special editions to be released on second day of the month
Reader interaction
Readers can send in reviews of films that may be published in the issue
A poll in each issue to decipher the most popular release of that month among the readers. The results would be published in the following issue
Cover
A red & black colour scheme, however the colour of the masthead will alternate depending on the main film of the issue. For example, if 'Hulk' was the film of the issue the masthead would be green.
