Chapter 6: Predestination
Section 2: The Predestination of the way in which God's Will is Fulfilled
5% is small but requires 100% effort
Predetermination of the fulfillment of God's will is conditional
GsW of POR is absolute and beyond human influence, but HB needs to fulfill their POR
Regardless of fall, we still have POR
God's will of 100% = God's R 95% + HB R 5%
"By completing HK's 5%, you are completing God's R. If you just complete the family level restoration through indemnity, you will inherit it all." - TF
Section 1: The Predestination of God's Will
God's will is to accomplish the POC so God's will is for restoration to be accomplished
God is AUEU , so GsW is AUEU
God couldn't accomplish his will due to fall
God's predestination of his will is Absolute
If one that is chosen fails his mission, God will find another person until mission is fulfilled
God sent J as 2nd Adam, but could not bring about Will, so he promised to return
Section 4: Elucidation of Biblical Verses Which Support the Doctrine of Absolute Predestination
but it's only when the person completes his POR is he justified and then glorified
b/c bible doesn't mention POR, pp misinterpret it to mean all affairs are determined solely by God's absolute predestination
God predestines those whom he foreknows
"I must offer the greatest amount of devotion if I am to fulfill my responsibility as the Messiah better than anyone in the past, present, or future." TF
"Am I fulfilling the role of Father well? Am I really loving others more than myself? Am I really sacrificing myself for others?"
What Father worries about is that when he goes to SW, if sb comes along and says, " Father has gone through many difficulties as the Messiah; however I've sacrificed even more for God," Father would not be able to hold his head up in front of God. Father said he must establish the standard that he has endured more hardships than anyone in the history of humanity. The principle of Predestination applies to True Father as well. (Testimony p.259)
Section 3: The Predestination of HB
G's POSalvation starts from 1 point > expands to the whole
Qualifications of Central Figure
be born into the chosen ppl in charge of the POR
Come from an ancestral line with many good accomplishments
live in a time and place most fitting for God's needs
be endowed with the requisite character needed to realize GsW
Develop the necessary qualities during his earthly life
Questions: 1. What does that mean? 3. what requisite character? 5. you can make an argument for other place in world other than Korea.
What if he made this all up just so TF can call himself the Messiah?
Eg. God predestined Moses will fulfil POR, but he struck the rock twice and failed
If one doesn't complete POR, he cannot become the person God has purposed him to be. Hence,
predestination of HB is conditional
Intro
Contradiction: Bible affirms and refutes predestination (refer to pg. 142)
