Step 4: Hearing
The objective of the disciplinary hearing is to enable a fair and reasonable decision to be made regarding the disciplinary action
Step 5: Decision
The disciplinary Panel will consider the circumstances. After that, they will decide whether or not the disciplinary action will be justified. The decision will be provided to the employee orally within one working day of the decision being made.
Step 6: Appeal Period
The employee would be notified that he or she has the right to appeal. If the employee wants to appeal, it has to be done within five working days after receiving the disciplinary hearing outcome in writing.
Step 7: Final Decision
The employee would be notified of the result of the appeal verbally within one day of the decision and in writing including reasons for the decision within five working days of the hearing.
