"OPEN-SOURCE" Episode 1
1st segment
Two - 4 hosts
Open with dialogue format? One host starts explaining what the show is and what were going to do. The other host joins in and talks about the website and interactivity..they both go on to talk about this episode...
then there is an explosion of some kind off screen :explode:
Hey it sounds like the Makers are here!
(or Team Demolition is here! or some name we come up with for Jeff and Anthony and you have to say it like its the coolest thing you ever heard)
Jeff and anthony appear through a cloud of smoke and remove their safety glasses and protective gear and come in looking like navy seal ninja pirates with high tech suits and gadgets...they explain what they were just doing and the hosts introduce them to the show and explain what theyll be doing every week..like blow things up.
Final Scene - Aerial Drone Shot - Deck of the ship
all hosts and corespondents appear on the deck of the ship at the end of the show reiterating what the show is and what were going to do then something explodes...

Possible Series Titles:
"Open-Source"
"NW STEM"
"STEM NW"
**Something to consider:
If we use geographical titles, are we limiting ourselves too much? We want to reach a global audience
DISTRIBUTIONPitch a teaser to Northwest TV Networks like KGW and KINGPBS: OPB, NWPTV, etc. - must have complete season in the can before they will even look at it (2010)AMAZON STUDIOS: Submit 2-15 min Concept videoNETFLIX: Submit through an agent/showrunnerHULU: content@hulu.comiTUNES?
Live-Streaming 360 degree interactive environment inside the ships during remodel process. Check out this video for an example of 360 VR and use your mouse to move around the environment.Students and public can watch what the engineers and designers are doing to the ship, ask questions in real time via voice or text, submit comments, start threads, etc.Engineers can address viewers questions/comments in real time, demonstrate concepts, explain what they're doing, and control the camera view.
Is it possible to add information in the form of text-box call-outs that pop up when a viewer interacts with an object on the live stream? Like the propulsion system, etc.
