I'll never forget: Our truck tire fell off on I-84. If it wasn't for my rodeo's president, I never would have made it to Spray! He hooked up his truck to our trailer at a truck stop, and we made the drive to Spray while my parents took our truck to a shop. I barely made the parade; Damon unloaded and tacked up Rico while I finished getting ready. We celebrated a day of making deadlines with a PB&J back at the trailer before the performance and waited for my parents. I'll never forget Spray, OR and the true act of rodeo friendship Damon showed me that day.
