N
: What is the nature of your problem?
I'm applying for jobs but I cannot get a position that fits.
You should opt for professions that fit your personality instead of trying to overcome your qualities or flaws to fit into something else.
What do you mean by personality?
Are you an extrovert or an introvert?
Extrovert
For extroverted people, it is advisable to seek jobs that involve people, working in teams and maybe avoid doing a repetitive task everyday behind a desk. There are personality tests that may help you define a position better for you.

F
: How can I help?
I have a problem with my sister.
F
: I'm sorry to hear that. What seems to be the problem?
We have communication issues. She always takes what I say in the wrong way.
F
: That sounds frustrating. How about trying to do some active listening with her first?
What does that even mean?
F
: Some successful tips on communicating better is through active listening. That means listening to what the person is saying without any distractions, tv, book, mobile phone. Also making eye contact with them and waiting until they're finished. After that it's good to acknowledge what they've said by identifying the feelings behind what they've said. For example: frustration, anger...
R
: Please define 'problem'.
I can't make a decision.
R
: For rational decision making, Harvard University suggests your problem should be well defined. The goals clear and the trade-offs also assessed. Once these are defined, risk assessment should also play a part in the decision making. Gathering information and weighing them, is vital for an accurate decision.
Wait, can you repeat that?
R
: Yes I can.
First
: define a problem.
Second
set the goals you would like to achieve.
Third
: gather as much information as you can about your options, to assess the risk associated to them.
Fourth
: Weigh the parameters and see which option is more likely to make you achieve your goal.
Matters of the heart...
R
: For emotional related issues, please consult a human being with capacity for empathy. I can give you a list of your most contacted numbers to help with that.
S
: What kind of problem is it?
I don't see a sense in anything anymore!
S
: It sounds like an existential issue.
Why?
S
: An existential crisis is characterized by not ceasing to see sense in life, or acknowledging mortality for instance.
.
What's that?
S
: It's usually when someone questions the meaning of their existence.
why does that happen?
S
: It's a broad array. Isolation, realizing the mortal human condition, believing one’s life has no purpose or meaning. Being confronted with freedom and its consequences. Also extreme joyful or painful experiences can result in existential crisis.
How do I solve that?

Shut up!
S
:...And you're failing at the first step of recognizing it!
Yeah, maybe! What do I do?
S
: You're on the right path if you're accepting of it.
What's next?
S
: There are several approaches to overcoming an existential crisis. Some people resort to religion, some to creative work with art or literature. Some people decide to take a step back and sort themselves on their own until they find meaning again.
