Cannabis Diseases

-
Viruses
Rarely kill Cannabis. They exist and replicate in living plants although they are very detrimental to yield.
Hemp Streak Virus - pale green chlorosis > interveinal yellow streaks (moist weather) > brown necrotic flecks, each fleck with a pale green halo (dry weather)
-
Other Mosaic Viruses (Alfalfa, cucumber, arabis)
Abiotic diseases
Often arise suddenly, predispose plants to other diseases
Nutrient Deficiencies
Shortages of less mobile nutrients begin in young leaves near the top (Mn, Zn, Ca, S, Fe, Cu)
Mobile nutrients become deficient in lower leaves at bottom of plants (N, P, K, Mg, B, Mb)
Pollutants
-
-
Automobile polluted plants produce fewer stomates but more trichomes per leaf area (believed to increase THC production)
Genetic diseases - shortened lifespan, production of sterile seeds, increased susceptibility to fungal diseases
