Retro
this design style is based around the design style from the 60's on furniture it uses isometric shapes and thin metal or wooden legs it tends to use traditional materials e.g. wood or metal
Art deco
art deco is a very similar style to art nouveau but is known to be sleeker and whereas art nouveau is known to be more decorative
Moderism
this movement emerged from the end of ww1. It shows the freedom of how people think it uses styles form all over the world.
Pop art
Pop Art is art made from commercial items and cultural icons such as product labels, advertisements, and film stars. It counteracts the more serious art styles of the time and was designed to be fun and quirky
Art nouveau
this represents how the fashion inspires modern art/ architecture. this also brings fashion into a wider and more mass produced market.
Abstractionism
this type of art produces dramatic visual effects with colors and contrasts that are difficult for the eye to resolve
