- - - - 2 Major priorities in Scripture:
        
        The Lord / Kingdom our / of God
        
        Our neighbour / all these things
    - - Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
    - - All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
  - - - 1st person relate & fellowship with is Lord our God
    - - God-given priority :arrow_forward: love Lord our God & seek His Kingdom
    - - God = 1st because Creator: source & founder of all things & purpose to all things
      - MAN, GLORY OF CREATION
        
        All creation was for man (God crowning work) to rule & use as he willed.
        
        In image & likeness = His class & level :arrow_forward: someone whom He could share His life with (Man, Gods companion)
        
        God give :arrow_forward: He had & share goodness, love, joy, peace, power etc
        
        Man is God's property! Therefore Lord our God should :arrow_forward: our priority!
    - - Mark 12:29
      - "Lord is first / Only God / One & Only God " = No other God
    - - Love = Agape (Greek) : "Value & prize above all other things"
      - Love = "Benevolence/ will for good of the Lord our God (goodwill toward Lord our God)"
      - 2.3.1 THE REAL VALUE
        
        :forbidden:Understand real inherent value of object of love = never have goodwill toward object
      - 2.3.2 SUPERFICIAL VALUE
        
        Only see superficial value :arrow_forward: object = superficial love & lack real love
        
        Superficial = face value determined :arrow_forward: outer appearance object dealing with. Love flunctuate & change with outward appearance :arrow_forward: one we trying to love
        
        Fear / selfishly motivated
        
        Love based :arrow_forward: outward appearance, love will never be real
      - 2.3.3 WHAT ABOUT GOD?
        
        Most people only love God based :arrow_forward: face value (He do for them) & no understanding :arrow_forward: His real value, nature & character
        
        Psalm 103:7
        
        Moses wanted :arrow_forward: know God face to face (personal, intimate friend) but Israelites too affraid :arrow_forward: only saw face value (God fearsome, awesome, terrifying)
        
        John 6:14-15 & 26
        
        Multitudes loved Jesus :arrow_forward: He fed & provided their needs. Jesus challenged them:arrow_forward: partake of Him as a Person, rejected Him.
        
        Only 12 disciples loved Him :arrow_forward: real value
        
        Real love motivated :arrow_forward: please & bless object of that love!!
    - - Lord = Jehovah (Hebrew)
        
        Lord (English writing) & JHWH (Hebrew writing without vowels, unprounceable word) = 'I Am that I Am'
        
        1st appearance = Moses :arrow_forward: burning bush : Asks Lord Whohe should say was sending him
        
        Name reveals true nature, character of God connected :arrow_forward: salvation, redemption, provision etc

        Plural form of 'Elah' = Gods (composite plural: one unit made up of more than one part)

        Elah is:
        
        The Father
        
        The Son
        
        The Holy Spirit
        
        Elohim is:
        
        Father, Son & Holy Spirit
        
        This is Who "I Am that I Am" is
        
        We have revelation :arrow_forward: who the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit are :arrow_forward: we have real love for Jehovah Elohim; Lord our God
        
        Real love is proportional to real value & finds pleasure :arrow_forward: presence of God
        
        Real value :arrow_forward: Lord our God :arrow_forward: His person, character & nature
  - - - fatherhood of the Father
      - brotherhood of Jesus Christ
      - companionship of Holy Spirit
      - revealed to us :arrow_forward: we have real love for Lord our God
    - - Lord our God reveals Himself :arrow_forward: open, searching, hungry & thirsty hearts
