Sometimes teachers can correct mistakes appropriately during speaking activities if students keep repeating sentences or if student try to get their pronunciation exactly right. However, constant interruption from the teachers can destroy the purpose of the speaking activities because the students will become too aware of using right words, perfect pronunciation, or correct grammar instead of the purpose of the activities. Thus, the appropriate way of correcting speaking is the teachers should note down things during the activities, and then after finishing the activities, it is a time to correct mistakes and give feedback.
