Solid
A solid is and object with a fixed shape. A solid is something you can hold without is changing it's shape. In a solid the particles are closley packed. Examples of solids are your pencil, laptop, and the table
Liquid
A liquid is a fluid and takes the shape of the container it's put in. In a liquid the particles are further spread apart than solids but closer together than gases. some examples of liquids are water, milk and juice.
Gas
Gases are usually clear and take the shape of the container it's put in. In a gas the particles are widely spread apart. Some examples of gases are oxygen, helium, and carbon dioxide.
