I. 起初 In the Beginning
B. The End of Learning: The end then of learning is to repair the ruins of our first parents. John Milton (p. 17)
-
F. 神的救恩是育化的源头:John 17:3 states "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent" (NIV). Salvation opens the mind of an individual to knowing God and learning of God's special purpose for him in life (p. 21).
我们的重大责任:The future of the body of Christ will be influenced by how we educate future generation (p. 21).
-
C. Man: ...for only man was created with a body, a soul, and a spirit (p. 17).
Amazing Mind: One of the most amazing aspects of God's creation of man is that He (God) formed man's mind with the ability to know and to reason. With this wonderful mind man could know his Creator in a personal way (p. 18).
Different Education: Adam had a direct personal relationship with God, his Creator. When Adam needed to learn something, he could go to God, and God would teach him about anything in the created world (p. 18).
*Adam's Education: The exercise of naming the animals was Adam's education by his Creator in preparation for the creation of Eve (p. 18, Genesis 2:18).
D. The Fall: Satan tempted Eve and Eve was led to believe that if she were to eat of this tree, she would know everything and be all wise. (p. 18, Genesis 3:5)
Evil: Instead of becoming like God, man discovered evil. Every parent learns very quickly that a child automatically knows how to do those things that are wrong. (p. 18).

是非教育: The different part is teaching him what is right and getting him to do those things. Since sin is still bound in the heart of every child, education is now necessary in order for him to know right from wrong (p. 18).
Human Nature - Good or Bad: A New York Times Magazine poll, "The Way We Live Now," reports that 73 percent of adults believe all people are born inherently good (p. 19).
如果高估人性:When an individual or a society believes that people are born good, it means that man can be perfected by providing everyone with two basic things—a good education and a good environment. (p. 19.)
Satan: Just as Satan deceived Eve by telling her that she would know everything (just like God) if she would only eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he continues to deceive us by telling us that earting of tree of education will make us perfect (p. 19.)
E. 教育的终极目的是什么?
Humanistic Perspective: Too often man approaches education as a means of perfecting himself and, in essence, making himself his own god (p. 19).
Can We Be Perfected? Christians must never forget that education in any form can never perfect one single individual. Only salvation in Christ can perfect a person (p. 19).
