Intervention
Friar Lawrence intervenes with Romeo and Juliet's Marriage. He gives Juliet a potion to simulate death. Little does he know that the marriage is actually the next day. Juliet Drinks the poison causing her to be "dead " . Friar then waits to tell Romeo, thinking he has more time, about Juliet. This then leads to the suicide of them both.
Lord Capulet intervenes with Juliet's personal life forcing her to marry Paris. Along with anxiety and making rash decisions, Juliet begins to develop a strong hatred for Paris and her father. And all of this intervention and anxiety has lead to a stronger love for Romeo.
Friar Lawrence did intervene with Romeo and Juliet twice. He agreed to marry the two together. Knowing that they are opposing families, he thought this would bring them together, but it caused more feud, and even death.
Fate or chance
Juliet's and Friar Lawrence's idea to avoid the marriage with Paris is ruined by chance. The wedding is moved up, and Romeo gets told the news later than he should. This series of unfortunate events of course leads to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet..
Romeo is accidentally invited by a servant who can not read. It is fate that Capulet would assign thisk task to someone who is unable to read. This leads the the first meeting of Romeo and Juliet.
During Mercutio and Tybalt's fight, Romeo kills Mercuio trying to stop the fight. This then causes Romeo to kill Tybalt out of anger. After hearing this, the prince then banishes Romeo from the city of Verona. This act of chance once again kills Romeo and Juliet.
Youth and Inexperience
Romeo and Juliet have not yet met any other people to know what true love is. Romeo has just gotten over Rosalie, and falls for Juliet in the same manner.Only this time Juliet falls for him as well. Since this is the first time Romeo has had a girl love him back, he confesses love for her within 3 hours of meeting her. This leads to a marriage causing nothing but turmoil.
Romeo and Juliet are very young at this time. This makes them act like children and be easily romanticized. Both of these aspects lead to life changing decisions based on impulse.For example, in the Capulet orchard Romeo is able to sway Juliet's mind into a forbidden marriage.
When Juliet and Romeo face challenges as a couple, they are unable to handle them because they have been shielded their whole life from problems. For example, when Romeo is banished, both Romeo and Juliet make very drastic decisions based on that challenge.
