Youth/Inexperience
Act 1, Scene 2. The Prince tells the two old men, Capulet and Montague, that they should no longer meddle in the feud that continues to tear their families against each other. if anything they should hold the peace.
In Act 1, Romeo's youth shows when he pouts and cries due to his previous break-up. He cries and goes deep into his emotion, rather than be an adult about it.

Act 3, they married each other and know extremely little of each other. They are loving with their eyes, not their hearts.
Fate/Chance
When the Prince said there will be death if the feud continues between the families, there was already a plan in place. Later, Romeo and Juliet die, and the Prince states that that is there punishment.
Act 2, Romeo and Juliet say they are "star-crossed lovers" leaving the solar system to be their guide with love. They left space to control all that happens, that is fate.

Adult Interventions
Friar Laurence and the Nurse keep Romeo and Juliet from killing themselves. Juliet takes a potion to make it seem as though she was dead to not become a bride to Paris. Romeo finds her body and drinks a poison to kill himself. Juliet awakens and takes her life with a knife to be with Romeo.
The play starts with a brawl between the two families, Capulets and Montague's, where later reveals why Romeo and Juliet need to keep their love a secret.
Lord Capulet lets Romeo stay at the ball, letting Romeo and Juliet see each other, leading Tybalt to hate Romeo, leading to his and Mercutio's death.
