David: In my video, my student (my son) pays attention pretty well, and shows a lot of enthusiasm for the game we're learning together. In addition, he remembers everything he has to do in the moment, but then later on, it's not clear if he's remembered it from before. Part of what's needed is just better assessment, for that, but part of my assessment design should also be focused on helping him to recall the different steps at intervals as we go through. There's not a lot of time for distributed practice in a 5-7 minute video, but I can go for what I can get in that time.
