THE HOLY SPIRIT: All Christians believe in the holy spirit and the idea that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all the same person/thing, Therefore, the holy spirit is a living presence of God in a presence/situation. They believe that God is immanent (in the world with us), it is an active, invisible power in people’s lives. For example, in Genesis 1:2, it says that “... and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”Some Christians feel that they are filled with the holy spirit when they feel an increased sense of joy, happiness or joy. Some people may “speak in tongue”, or have prophecies or visions predicting the future. Some extreme cases leave people physically shaking or crying because of this overwhelming power.
