Divergent Views on LAD
Non-Catholic Christians do not believe in purgatory as it is not explicitly referred to in the Bible.
Some Protestants believe the soul and body remain in the grave until the Last Day when they will be raised and judged.
They believe only those that have been born again
will go to heaven.
Many Christians believe that when the body dies the soul leaves the Body to go to God. Whether this happens is based on how they lived their lives
Some Christians do not believe that a loving God would create hell. As Christianity is based on forgiveness, Jesus' teachings would back this idea up.
