Assessment & Inquiry
-
Rubrics
Analytic
 Easier to break down assessment into different categories
Gives the learner specific information about what they should be doing.
:unamused: Time-consuming to make, no room for flexibility in marking or space for students to go beyond or outside of expectations, students don't always read the whole rubric.
Single Point
 Contains far less language than analytic therefore quicker to create and its more likely students will read. Allows open-ended comments for areas of concern or excellence.
-
Holistic
 Less time to create, grading is also faster
