Technology In Our Lifetime
Introduction/Past
After depating what activity to fill our summer day up with Charlie,Tom,Brian, and I decided to walk to the mall.
Reminded of this Summer day back in the mid 90s
Walking down a sidestreet when I noticed the familiar, but foreign reminiscence of a payphone on the side of a building
The outside case that said phone remained, without a phone
Go to the arcade and by a new CD at the music store
Heard this song over a year ago on an underground college radio station and have been waiting for the album
Station was the best getting tapes from the city of unkown artist that nobody else had.
Tom was ridiculous. Talked about getting a beeper
Think you're so important that can't wait to get home to make a phone call
Running late
Had to find a pay phone to call my parents to let them know I'd be home late for dinner.
Would be great if I could just carry around phone instead of a beeper.
