Physical:
1) Cephalocaudal trend - head more than the lower part of the body
2) Proximodistal trend –
a) head/chest/trunk
b) arms/legs
c) hands/feet
Gross Motor Skills: walking, rolling over and sitting up straight
Fine Motor skills- coordination, grasping.
Visual perception: prefer to look at faces, certain colours, shapes and configurations
Auditory perception: more sensitive to high frequencies, differentiate changes in sounds and mothers voice from others
