EOY Reading Fluency 74 WPM Tier 2
The student can use an I Pad to record themselves reading. Then they will listen to their recording and identify errors and will keep track of the time it took to read the text.
The student will set individual goals and keep track of their own assessment data in order to see the progress made throughout the school year.
Student 1:
EOY Reading Fluency: 50 WPM: Tier 3
Guided reading with the teacher as an individual or in a small group.
Taking turns reading a leveled text with a partner.
Student 2:
EOY Reading Fluency: 62 WPM Tier 3
Reading along with an audio book and teacher asks comprehension questions at the end.
Have the student practice sight words, then assess and keep track of progress.
