Interim/Benchmark
This assessment is used by educators to evaluate students levels and to determine where they are in their learning progress/what they need to learn for future use.

Usually a high stakes exam used to evaluate the student in a certain area of their education. They can be used as decision makers.

A form of pre-assessment used to determine what level the student is at with the material being learned.
