Work
If you had no job then you would have no money- there was no support system.
no minimum wage
average of 65 hours a week back then
employers could treat workers however they wanted
people who stood up against the low pay you would get kicked out of their job
There where no unions just yet in 1912
Women
if you where lower class then you would have to work
upper and middle class where just exoected to mary
cleaners
subservient
all jobs that they did where house wife style stuff
no hard labour

eldest male in the family is the head of the hosue
always the superior gender
