Side Effects
There were too few people, so peasants started demanding more money but the landlords resisted them. Some peasants left to different towns or villages while other burned down manor houses

It was known for her mysterious eyes and smile. Leonardo was one of the greatest scientific thinkers of his day. New ideas and technology spread throughout Europe. The Renaissance was a time for art and learning.

8 wars in the holy land. from 1096-1270. People who fought it the war were promised that they would be accepted into heaven which was an offer many took because in this era everyone's main focus was getting into heaven which furthermore proves the power of the church

Goal was to recover the Holy Land from Islamic world - gained territory and political advantage for the catholic church (christians) - wars were violent - *RESULT: opened up the mediterranean for commerce and travel.

Significance Monasteries were safe places of education and were actually the first universities. If not for Monasteries advances of the roman empire could have been lost

Define king of the franks emperor of western roman empire for 48 years. Worked well with pope leo III
He encouraged knowledge and encouraged people to belive in one god and not believe everything you hear about god and religion. He helped lower the fear and superstition of god.

Jesus Christ was a Jewish preacher and religious leader who became the central figure of Christianity. Christians believe him to be the Son of God and the awaited Messiah Christ prophesied in the Old Testament.

Abraham is part of the Jewish, Christian and Islamic religions. Abraham is considered the father of these three religions, which are called Abrahamic religions.
