Used to adjust instruction throughout the year. Administered at regular intervals (such as every 6 weeks). Very little feedback given to students.

Assessment Data
In latest exit ticket, students were asked to create an equivalent expression for each of 4 given expressions.
Possible Strategies for Intervention:
Teacher may begin by reviewing with students how to add numbers by using manipulatives. Then, teacher can then introduce a balance to show students how to find equivalent expressions.
Additionally, students can get practice by matching expression cards instead of creating their own.
