FRCA Flow
Principles
Venturi effect
Introduction of a constriction in a tube will cause an increase in flow to make use of the Bernoulli principle to decrease pressure
Coanda effect
Tendency for a stream of fluid flowing in proximity to a convex surface to follow the line on the surface.
Used in fluid logic ventilators (both Coanda and Bernoulli principle)
Bernoulli principle
An increase in flow velocity will result in a decrease in pressure
Used in Venturi masks, fluid logic ventilators, jet ventilation, gas driven nebulisers etc
