Formative :
Definition: during this type of assessment, teachers gather student evidence of the student, evaluate the information given, adjust any teaching according to the feedback, give students a chance to change any behaviors and then give a quiz or discussion in order to evaluate again.
EX: Quizzes, discussions, teacher observation, questioning
Interim/Benchmark 
This type of formative assessment is given to students periodically (every 6 weeks or 9 weeks) it is to assess student's knowledge after a certain unit or chapter. This assessment is necessary in order for teacher to adjust instruction and for district/ school reports of student data. The grade for this assessment will contribute to any RTI information.

Summative
This form of exam is given after a big amount of learning was made. usually at the end of the year and assess the students learning as a whole. This type of testing happens after many formative assessments have been made.
An Example of this was the S.T.A.A.R., final exams.

Performance
An assessment that will evaluate the students performance through a project rather than a multiple choice test. The feedback of this assessment will give you what the student is truly capable of instead of the student's grade to a multiple choice exam

Diagnostic
Assessment is made to determine the level that the students arrive at your classroom. This assessment will give the teachers the opportunity to know where the students start and how much intervention will be needed for the student.

Teachers use assessment data in order to help students where they might need to grow in by developing different strategies and adjusting instruction.

TC will make work with different accommodations for the work so they can be able to reach the same objective as other students.
Assessments helps teachers measure their students performance after learning certain information. There are different types of assessments but they all work together to established whether the students understood the content. Using these tools, the students provide their parents, school, and state with feedback on how much they learned. Teachers often take this feedback and reflect on their teaching strategies.
