Mountains are a connection to Taoist because they are a sign of nature. In many pieces of artwork, you will find big mountains to show the relationship to Taoism.
Ying and Yang :yin_yang:
The yin and yang show the opposites in nature. With yin being calm, cold and relaxed and yang being hot, loud and intense, the two compliment each other and explain everything in the world.

Lao Tzu himself was born in the 640 BC and died in 531 BC
His name stands for "Old Master" or "Old Philosopher".
Lao Tzu had a son named Li Zong who is a musical artist.

Taoists believe that when you die, nothing happens except that you become part of yin and yang. In Taoist teachings you learn not to desire death and not fear death.

One Ritual Taoists had was they burned bones and turtle shells with writing on them to send questions to the gods. When they put it in the fire they take it out after a few seconds, and they crack the item open. They now look at the cracks and by how the cracks are, the Taoists know the answer. These are called oracle bones.

Lao Tzu created a new religion. Today about 12 million people are Taoists. Also people now today have a book of Lao Tzu's teachings

There are only 12 million Taoist in the world. Although this seems like a lot, compared to other religions, it is not!
Lao Tzu might have been a myth and he might have been a real person but we don't know for sure.
