Direct Interaction are issues that directly affect the business. A few examples include a new business opening up and competing for customers, accidents in the store (fires, car crash, etc), bad weather keeping customers from coming in.
Indirect Interaction
Indirect interaction are issues that affect the store over time rather than immediately. A few examples include: new mangers/CEO, minimum wage changes, software updates (specifically for computer bases businesses), shift in demographics, shift in food supply (due to seasonal or other impacts), inflation.

Environmental stability is the rate at which the environment is changed in a business.

These issues happen mostly outside of the work boundaries.

Also these problems can give your business a bad reputation if they are not taken care of. Also, sexual harassment in the workplace can do the same amount of damage to the business.

Corporate scandals involving unethical practices will drive consumers/customers away from investing in the business and it will lose money.
