For a large or greatly scaled organization there may be team, time, product, service, or project based Vision statements. They must align to the top-tier organizational Vision statement
Should be reviewed in a recurring time period conducive to the velocity and amount of change happening in the organization. A baseline interval would be quarterly (every 3 months). It may be tweaked during these review milestone points.

The Vision should be an easily accessible, high visibility space both internally and externally.

Makes it easier for internal and external parties to identify the organization's reason for existing, its purpose, and its intentions.
Lays down a pathway for the Mission, infrastructure and programmatic systems.
Has a magnetic affect. An organization with a communicable and visible purpose inherently attracts interest and investment.
