Zeus had many children because he basically had children with every goddess and many mortals as well

They are all brothers
Even though they are all brothers they had many brothers and sister, the reason they are the only three spoken of is because their father Cronus had a vision that one of his children would over through him so he ate them all but Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades survived and killed him and became the new gods of olympus
