The recipient clicks on the link in the email and are sent to a fake website asking for personal information
Access to information can lead to stolen credit card numbers, PINs, fraud and theft

Where malicious code software installed on the harddrive directs the user to fake websites without the users consent or knowledge :warning:

Spyware can also install other programs, read cookies, and change the users browser
