It may be called therapeutic abortion, to clarify that it has been carried out medically

The UK allows abortions up to the 24th week of a pregnancy as long as two doctors agree that the abortion meets at least one of the conditions
The conditions are the that the mothers life is at risk
The child is handicapped
The child could risk of health of the carriers other children
The mothers physical and mental heath is at risk
