Decimals- a decimal is a rational if it could be written as a fraction
Terminating Decimals - a decimal with a finite number of digits
Repeating Decimals- a decimal fraction in which a figure is repeated.
Place Value System- positional system of notation where it determines the value.
Commutative Property
Integers- every integer is a rational number
Integer can be expressed as a Fraction.
A fraction in which the numerator is greater than the denominator
Mixed Number- an improper fraction could be converted into a mixed number.
Equivalent fractions are fractions that represent the same amount, ex. 2/3 & 4/6.

Area Model- used to figure out fractions.

Multiplicative Inverse is another name for a reciprocal

Ratio- rational number can be written as a ratio
