Context
the poet doesn't talk about a person nor an event in specific, but talks about the life cycle that everyone will eventually pass through it
-
In the 17th century, series of ages was a commonplace of art and literature, which Shakespeare would have expected his audiences to recognize.

Symbolism
"All the world's a stage",the author meant that the world is like the stage of a theatre, and life is like a big drama. He used the word "stage" to show that our lives has different stages; childhood, adulthood, and senior citizens.
Purpose of the poem
The author wrote this poem to explain the stages of a human's life, and I think he chose to write about this topic because he has already experienced all these stages of life.
Personal opinion
At the beginning I thought that it was talking about a specific character, but after finishing the poem I felt that the author wanted to send a message to all the young people which is that this is what your future is going to be like.
I think my classmates will like this poem because it's like they are reading about their own future.
Even though the poem is very old, it is still relevant till this day because the stages of life that the author mentioned still happens.
The poem will still be relevant in the future because the life cycle / life stages of a human never changes.
