Failed Plot 1604 - Thomas Percy rented a house near Parliament - they dug tunnels but the tunnels filled with water and the plan was abandoned.
1605 - Plot to blow parliament up at the Opening of Parliament - 5th NOVEMBER 1605. Seize his daughter Elizabeth and make her Queen and provide help from Catholics - she was only 8 at the time.

WHAT WENT WRONG?
26th October 1605 - letter sent to Lord Monteagle containing a warning - this was given to Robert Cecil who took it to the King - who was advised to change plans for the opening of Parliament

Man arrested - he said he was John Johnson - but after questioning in the Tower of London he admitted he was Guy Fawkes
Guy Fawkes was tortured and after 2 days revealed the plot, after 6 days reveals the plotters
