History
Buddhism: Sidhartha Gautauma was the founder of one of the sects that became part of the religion in India. The Sramanas were responsible for bringing religious thought to India and help create the religion of Buddhism.
Hinduism: the religion's history overlaps with other religions being born in India. One of the sects in Inida, Shaivism, were responsible for growing the religion under the Islamic rule.
Muslim: the religion was a rule but then became a filing on after the Islamic religion. The Quaran is what guides the followers of the religion and was created during the Golden Age.
Christianity: the Christian community grew under Roman rule. The Christians were oftener threatened with death because the Romans saw the religion as dangerous.

Suffering is caused by craving and aversion
Suffering can overcome happiness
The noble 8 fold path is being moral, being aware of your actions, and understanding the 4 truths
Hinduism:God exists and has several divine forms. All human beings are divine. There is religious harmony. Knowledge of three GS: the sacred rivier, prayer, and mantra.
Muslim: Five Pillars of Islam: prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage to Mecca, and the Shia Islam
Christianity: Believes in charity and that the best kind of good acts are the ones where you do not get anything in return.

Christianity: the followers of Christianity throughout history follow the 10 Commandments and listen to the morals in the Bible

Hinduism: Hinduism is seen more as a way of life as they follow principles that have been followed more many years as it is the oldest religion.

Conclusion: These four religions, despite their differences, are able to live togehter in one community. This shows great discipline because it is hard to be with someone who believes in different styles of religion. Overall, religions are a fragile subject, but Nepal proves that these religions are able to live in close quarters and respect that they ar individually different religions.
