        Nick tells Gatsby that he killed Myrtle
        
        Gatsby is waiting outside Daisy's house in case Tom tries to hurt Daisy
        
        Daisy runs over Myrtle
        
        Tom can't believe that Myrtle is dead
        
        Tom tells Wilson that it was Gatsby who ran over Myrtle
        
        Wilson thinks it was Gatsby who was having an affair with Myrtle instead of Tom
        
        daisy was driving
      - Myrtle's relationship with Tom is revealed and as she runs out in an attempt to get, who she thinks is Tom, to stop. But in reality it was Gatsby and Daisy and he hit and killed Myrtle.
      - Tom drives back home in his blue coupe
- - - - Myrtle is seen, clearly sad at the garage
        
        Tom runs out of gas
        
        Tom drives in Gatsby's car to town
        
        Gatsby's parties stop
        
        Gatsby takes Tom's car into the city along with Daisy in the passenger seat.
