Methods included: disrupting meetings (remember Christabel did this at a meeting in 1905 and when a policeman tried to remove her, she spat in his face and hit him in the mouth), smashing windows (from 1908), chaining themselves to railings, going on hunger strike in prison, protests (which sometimes ended in violence e.g. Black Friday in 1910), attacks on property (e.g. Lloyd George's house in 1913) and acid poured on golf courses.
