Just an Example. So we would advise Sustain Dane to put together a Steering Committee of let's say: Justified Anger, Clean Lake Alliance, Feed Kitchen, and the Goodman Community Center. Each of them would identify a goal they want to work toward. They would then engage in creating their own networks, connecting with organizations that work on similar issues. Then that newly created network would engage the specific communities they serve, because they have the expertise. This approach would make ideally make nonprofits feel like they are being assisted in their efforts, instead of having another added responsibility on their plate. The indicators identified from the community, would then be fed back up the network to the steering committee, allowing Sustain Dane to use them in their tool.
